FullSizeRender(1).jpeg

Featuring the husband and wife team of Canadian music legend Bill Sample and recording artist Darlene Cooper, Wild Blue Herons put their love of music theory, complex chords, and groove together to create hip, smooth, smoky, bluesy sounds and original songs filled with themes of love and social consciousness. Together with an all-star cast of Vancouver musicians, Wild Blue Herons are Vancouver favourites at Jazz Festivals and Jazz clubs and have collaborated with such greats as Eric Bibb, Marcus Mosely, and Shari Ulrich. Their first release in 2018, On the Outside, describes their unique position in the Canadian music scene-“in music and life, the ‘outside’ is where you are when you are different. Good things can happen there”. Learn more at www.wildblueherons.com
